			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome to our first Katakana lesson. In this lesson you will learn the readings for six katakana characters. You will note that they are not in the traditonal alphabetical order you would find on a katakana chart. We have done this in order to teach you vocabulary. Using a combination of these six katakana characters you will learn the katakana pronunciation and readings for the following words;  tomato, toast, microphone, Chirstmas, smart and strike. Please repeat aloud after Kaoru Sensei.</p>
